Election season is upon us and I have filed for re-election, seeking my third(3rd) full term as your Constable.

I was first elected to fill an unexpired 2 year term in 1998 and have been elected twice since.

As your Constable, I have kept an open door policy and have made myself available to those in need 24 hour a day and 7 days a week. I made it my policy 9 1/2 years ago to do what it take to get the job done and I do so today, whether going to work early or working late to get my job done.  

I have worked hard to maintain a professional image and remain high profile in the community by serving where needed.  When I was elected, the patrol vehicles were standard family cars converted to police vehicle. Since the Constable has to provide his own vehicle, I have since purchased used police vehicles. In approximately 2000, a grant provided a video camera for the patrol unit. In February 2006, a mobile data terminal linked the patrol unit with the Texas Crime Information Center and the Texas Department Of Public Safety drivers record division through a secure through San Antonio Police Department.
